When I’m not working you can find me:
Taking a Jeep Ride singing karaoke on back roads, boating, and being a mom to my 13-year-old son. I love to work on home projects when I can.
Cause/Charity I support:
Autism Awareness & St. Jude's Children research
Famous person (dead or alive) I would most like to meet:
Dolly Parton : music legend, Rags to rhinestone - the journey wasn't easy, through it all she never lost her sense of humor , like Dolly says " if you want the rainbow, you got to put up with the rain"
Favorite place I would like to visit or have visited:
Cape Coral, Florida , my first vacation was oddly enough to visit my childhood best friend at her first home. Normally I visit my hometown West Virginia for my vacations. I am excited to explore more for future vacations.
A little more about me...
- Moved to Michigan in 2005 from the small town of Hedgesville, West Virginia as I was transferred for Assistant Manager for a family owned restaurant that expanded.
- Was in college for Radiology school with a newborn child and working full time.
- My realtor along with a business owner who was starting a remodeling company, saw my vision and passion in remodeling my home and projects. I loved it all, Home is where the heart is. Living conditions and how the space makes you feel. Changed majors to Interior Design & Construction.
- Worked for a construction company that flipped houses & client remodels. I enjoy learning and being hands on. I wanted to learn the hardest installs before the easiest.
- Worked as a painter for a subcontractor who done work for New Build construction, I love to paint but I was more into the custom painting aspect.
- Started flooring as sales : it made sense for my lifestyle being a mom. I have a desire for detail and understanding of project coordinating. I miss the hands-on aspect, so I listen to my installers and learn from them as this industry of flooring that is always evolving.
- I am goofy, serious, detailed, and I have squirrel moments. Famous in the office for owning the squirrel moments -and making other laugh out of randomness. I love what I do, and I enjoy challenges and growing!
