In Memory Of Chewy
Our dear Chewy has passed on. He was an amazing part of our DGI family for the last 11 years. Chewy came to the DeGraaf family in 2010 after being rescued by Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary in Lake Odessa. He was in rough shape with a severe case of heartworm and scheduled to be euthanized by Animal Control, but Mackenzie’s took him in and fixed him up. He quickly won the hearts of Deb Degraaf and her family and was adopted that same year.
Over the years, Chewy became like a mascot for DeGraaf Interiors. In fact, he even has his own team member page on our website. He was frequently alongside us at the Corporate office, always there to give us a friendly tail wag and bring a positive spirit to our staff members. Our customers came to know Chewy well – for many years he greeted customers at the DeGraaf Interiors showrooms and was truly known as a part of the DeGraaf Interiors family. Even long after their installation was complete, customers would swing by to see Chewy. We never would have thought a dog could be loved so much. We find joy in the memories and know you are playing catch, eating treats, and napping with the rest the dogs who have passed over the rainbow bridge.
